RAFF IT UP! Spring/Summer, 2003

Spring has Sprung..... Summer is just around the next corner.... what a great time to get to know your community!

RAFF it up with your neighbours!!!

Spring and summer allows us to throw open our windows and doors and enjoy the sights and sounds of our community.

What a great time to set up a lawn chair (or a bunch of lawn chairs) on your front lawn and meet the neighbours. A tray of glasses and a pitcher of something cool (to break the ice) and you have the makings of a "Community Gathering".

People Gather, conversations flow and before you know it your little group is making plans to do a plant swap, sharing ideas on gardening and landscaping and...... what's that you say.......a Block Party!! What a great idea, now aren't you glad you set up those lawn chairs!!

Not only did you reconnect with your community, but a party.... how can anyone turn down an opportunity to RAFF (build friendships and relationships, jump into action to make your community the best place to be and, (of course) eat, eat, eat all that great food and... have fun doing it all!!
