This energizing workshop uses the model for Community Capacity Building and Asset Mapping© developed by CBR with the Glenwood community in Edmonton. In this workshop, people begin to recognize their own gifts and those of others. It helps people to see ways to mobilize and maximize their local resources to build spirit and energy to create a healthy community. This is community development with social AND economic benefits and it's FUN!!

Building Builders Opportunity
This opportunity will allow the in-depth discussion about the theories and underpinnings of Asset-based Community Building. People who take part in this opportunity will acquire the confidence and ability to co-facilitate a Community Capacity Building and Asset Mapping© Raff It Up workshop. The length of time the participants will spend on this learning opportunity will be a function of the learners.

Youth - Keys to Community
In this workshop youth, and those who work with youth, will see the many ways youth can impact the growth of community and have fun while doing it.  "Keys to Community" - which was a pilot with Westlawn Junior High School - a West Edmonton school. The new name the youth choose is CIA (Community Involved Adolescents).
