CBR has extensive experience supporting not-for-profit organizations, geographic communities, businesses, and many other groups in developing proposals. This is a hands-on, four hour workshop for writing effective funding proposals. Topics include: how to review the paper for Request for Proposal (RFP's), proposal opportunities today, partners and coalitions, components of a proposal, the Do's and Don'ts of effective proposal writing, and why proposals might not be successful. Participants should bring their ideas for proposals they want to write. It's fun, it's hard work and it makes you do it!! 1. Introduction
